Real FPS / True FPS Meter

Privacy Policy

Effective 14 September 2026

Summary

True FPS Meter is private by default. It has no advertising or analytics SDK. Performance sessions and settings remain on your device unless you deliberately sign in and use Google backup.

Data processed on your device

The app processes device information, the app or game you select, frame-rate and frame-time measurements, thermal readings, saved session names, overlay settings, and purchase entitlement status. This information is used to measure performance and show your saved results. It is stored locally and is not sent to the developer.

Optional Google backup

If you choose “Sign in with Google” and then request a backup, the app receives your Google account email for the signed-in state and uploads your saved performance sessions and app settings to the private appDataFolder belonging to this app in your Google Drive account. Google processes the sign-in and storage request under its own privacy terms. Data is encrypted in transit. The app does not access your visible Drive files and cannot access another app’s private data.

Backup is opt-in. Nothing is uploaded while you are signed out. Signing out clears the app’s local record of the backup account but does not automatically delete an existing Drive backup.

Google Play purchases

If you buy the optional Pro unlock, Google Play handles payment information. The app receives the purchase status and a purchase token needed to acknowledge and restore the purchase. The app does not receive or store your card details.

Permissions

Retention and deletion

You can delete local sessions inside the app or remove the app and its local data through Android settings. To remove a Google Drive backup, disconnect True FPS Meter and delete its hidden app data from Google Drive’s Manage apps settings. You can also revoke the app’s Google access from your Google Account security settings.

Children

The app is a technical utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

This page will be updated when the app’s data practices materially change. Questions can be sent to press@dhananjaytech.com.
